The Laguna Rosada runs alongside Route 27 between the port of Telchac and Progreso. This magnificent lagoon is inhabited by a variety of bird species, including numerous colonies of pink flamingos, which dive into the intensely pink waters in places. Unlike Celestún, there are no tourist operators offering walks through the lagoon, so you'll have to be content with observing the spectacle from the road leading to the Xcambo site. For amateur photographers, this area offers superb opportunities to capture the magic of the landscape!
