A whole weekend of concerts dedicated to one of the Caribbean's most iconic musical styles: reggae, featuring legends of the genre.
The Caribbean is synonymous with reggae. While Barbados may not be the cradle of reggae like Jamaica, that doesn't stop me from celebrating one of the most iconic styles of music to emerge from the West Indies. In the idyllic setting of the National Botanical Garden, a number of concerts will be held, featuring reggae legends such as Admiral Tibet, UB40 and Eric Donaldson, as well as locals such as Rite Side of Red and Jamar The Star. And to round things off on a high note, come aboard two boats for the Reggae Wavez to enjoy the good vibes of the waves.
