A weekend of competition dedicated to walking and running, culminating in a marathon, in a crazy atmosphere.

Combining festivities and sporting competitions, Barbados Run Weekend is for all those who like to walk or run, from amateurs to accomplished athletes. Things get off to a gentle start on Friday, with a festive one-mile run (with music and costumes), before getting down to business in the 5km and 10km races on Saturday. Challenge-seekers can look forward to the half-marathon and marathon on Sunday (with an early start to avoid the hottest hours). The crazy atmosphere is what the event is famous for.
