Organized by the Barbados Agricultural Society, Agrofest showcases the best that the island's land has to offer. Farmers, breeders and artisans gather in Queen's Park, in the heart of Bridgetown, to showcase fruits, vegetables, livestock, flowers, honey, crafts... in a spirit of direct contact between producers and consumers. A section is also devoted to ecology and renewable energy. This ultra-popular festival among Barbadians is also an opportunity to sample some fine local cuisine.
