The green lung of the capital, this large park not only provides shade and coolness thanks to its trees and fountains, but is also a meeting and event place where Barbadians love to gather (especially on Christmas Day, when they come out in full regalia). You'll also find Queen's Park House, home to the Daphne Joseph Hackett Theatre and the Queen's Park Gallery. As you stroll through the park, don't miss a huge baobab tree, over a thousand years old and one of the largest in Barbados.
