NATIONAL BOTANICAL GARDENS
Park – Garden

Amazingly, it wasn't until 2019 that Barbados had its own national botanical garden. At the entrance to the park, you are greeted by the national flower: The Pride of Barbados, a pretty yellow flower with long red stamens. The beds are planted with local flowers, shrubs and trees, as well as plants given as gifts by foreign dignitaries. Bajans love to stroll here, play cricket, and the garden is often the setting for Crop Over festivities.
