BRIDGETOWN BOARDWALK
The Boardwalk (officially the Wickham Lewis Boardwalk) is a wooden promenade that runs along the north shore of the Carénage. It's the ideal place to take a stroll or simply sit on a bench and admire the view of the bay and the boats bobbing up and down to the rhythm of the waves. From the promenade, you can also see the renovation work taking place on the south shore, a project that should contribute to the revitalization of Bridgetown. A plaque commemorates the resilience of the slaves who were sold here and those who fought against slavery.
