AGAPEY CHOCOLATE FACTORY
In its 14 years of existence, this bean-to-bar chocolatier has made quite a name for itself. Barbados may not have large plantations, but it's not far from Grenada or the Dominican Republic, where Agapey sources its cocoa, and the sugar used in their confections is local. When you enter their workshop, you can't miss the bean roasting machine. Purists will opt for the tablets, while lovers of fantasy will choose the pralines (with rum or fruit). And let's not forget our artisanal ice creams. Who would have thought that banana-nutmeg would be a perfect marriage?
