For a whole week, Barbados celebrates Holetown, the country's oldest town, with parades, concerts and a military parade.
For a whole week, Barbados celebrates Holetown, the country's oldest town, founded as Jamestown. A week, then, filled with events as diverse as parades, including vintage cars, sightseeing bus rides, concerts, conferences and, above all, two events not to be missed if you're in the area.
The first is the Floodlit Tattoo, an all-night military music parade. The second is the Bajan Dooflicky parade, in which everyone, including tourists, is invited to take part.
