This hike offers a splendid view of Batur and the sea, easily accessible from Tejakula or Amed. The place, with its view of the Agung volcano, is absolutely magnificent, but it's advisable to arrive very early to avoid the heat and take full advantage of the scenery. The area is very unusual, evoking a perfect Wild West with horses, cows and goats passing among the cacti and dusty quarry paths. It's a wild place to add a touch of adventure to this unique experience.
