Hôtel-Dieu, an wood-panelled building in Sées.
Founded in 1298 by Guillaume Bérard and his wife, the town retains a pillar with Roman capitals on a wall of the chapel. It presents woodworks decorated with paintings from the eighteenth century, works by Nicolas Jacques Conté (1755-1805), a native of the region and the inventor of the pencil.
