THE GARDENS OF THE ARGENTRÉ PALACE
Neoclassical palace with splendid gardens, ideal for a stroll in Sées, a small town full of character.
This neoclassical episcopal palace was built in the 18th century at the request of Monseigneur Jean-Baptiste du Plessis d'Argentré, tutor to the children of Louis XVI. It became state property in 1905, then a military hospital. It is now a Catholic institute. Today, you can stroll through the grounds, which are home to beehives and an educational garden. At the bottom of the park: panoramic view of the cathedral and palace, then, after the wooden bridge: the viviers district.
