A park-like gorge with numerous waterfalls and a picturesque stream.
The N1 to Médéa leads up the Oued Chiffa through forest and parkland. In the Chiffa gorges, the numerous waterfalls tumbling down the slopes of the Atlas Mountains offer great swimming opportunities. Note the presence of the old railway tracks that once linked Algiers to Djelfa. The ruisseau des Singes is the most picturesque part of the gorge. You'll be lucky enough to spot many monkeys that have made their home in the woods surrounding the stream.
