EGLISE SAINT-AUBIN AND EGLISE N-D D'AUTHEUIL
Church built in the 12th century, one of the oldest in the region, still preserving the upper arch of the portal.
Originally Romanesque, Tourouvre's church was enlarged in the 15th century. Its windows are Renaissance, and part of the nave dates from the 14th century. Its stained-glass windows depicting the history of the Commune and the departure of emigrants for New France seal the Franco-Canadian friendship.
The church at Autheuil, 3 km from Tourouvre, is a living testimony to Romanesque art. From its origins, it retains the upper arcature of the portal. Inside, its capitals are adorned with fantastical figures.
