Nice hike for good hikers in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park along a 19 km rocky climbing trail
This beautiful hike in the backcountry will keep you busy for a whole day. Trail Creek is a rocky trail that climbs over tundra-covered hills. The 19-kilometre hike is suitable for good walkers in very good physical condition. Sufficient water and knowledge of bear precautions are essential. Bears and sheep are not uncommon in the area. It is possible to extend the hike over three days by joining the Lost Creek trail.
