There are few places in Girdwood to eat on the go. This sandwich shop, open in summer and winter, is very convenient, located at the foot of the slopes of the Alyeska ski area in winter and at the start of the hiking trails in summer. The sandwiches served are prepared on demand and are generous, the coffee is good. It is the best place to take a picnic before leaving for a day trip. We also like its affordable breakfast options. Very busy at meal times, the wait is sometimes a bit long.
