Italian restaurant in Beaune serving pizzas, risottos and the best transalpine or Burgundy wines.
Amarone is a wine from Italy and also the name chosen by Alberto the owner, which says a lot about his passion for wine. Establishing his restaurant in Burgundy and more precisely in Beaune was therefore an obvious choice. If he lived in Montreal for years, this jovial restaurateur is indeed Italian and if he doesn't have the accent, everything breathes Italy when you see him. Reverent and talkative, he brought his whole country back to his establishment. Dishes like folklore: a wide range of pizzas cooked over a wood fire and made with products from there. The traditional truffle risotto served directly in the grindstone of parmigiano flambé. Italian music in the background and the accent of some of the staff members: escape is assured. To change pizzas, opt for pasta, yes, but what pasta! Fresh tagliatelle, lasagne della mamma, homemade ravioli... Alberto Iacono also offers us the best of the transalpine wines with a superb menu. To consecrate this passion, he has been organizing the San Vincenzo dell'Amarone in the restaurant for 12 years. An Italian-Burgundian buffet-exhibition bringing together a hundred of the best winegrowers from Italy and Burgundy around great Chefs from Piedmont and our beautiful region. At Amarone, all generations can come and enjoy themselves even on a small budget. A catering service adapts to your requests and travels to bring you Italy on a platter during your events.
