French cuisine with Delicave wines served in a rustic restaurant in Beaune.
What is the secret of José, a warm-hearted character, to receive so many compliments on his cooking? He doesn't give in to any fashion, for nearly 20 years he has only served authentic French cuisine without fuss. The connoisseur is delighted: ribs, old-fashioned calf's head, pig's feet with snails, knuckle of ham with Epoisses cream. The dishes are generous and the wine is delicious. José works with Délicave, a wine merchant from Beaune, and the wine to take away is at the price of a wine merchant. The aperitif can be taken at the cellar by reservation and only on Friday and Saturday nights.
