Quality restoration at moderate prices with the chef Stéphane Léger in a bistro in Beaune.

Stéphane Léger, an experienced chef and former starred chef, has made 8 Clos an address not to be missed. Accompanied by Vanessa, his wife, and Pierre, his son, he offers a bistronomic cuisine with the right combination of fresh and seasonal products. The long room with black skai benches and exposed stones, the rooms upstairs are top. Croustillant of calf's head with leek confit, Tourte au foie gras and coq au vin, Truite de Crisenon with morels and yellow wine are exquisite. Superb cellar and wine list which are also to take away.

Je crains que cet endroit n'ait été une véritable déception. La nourriture était très bonne - le goût était délicieux et la présentation agréable - mais le vrai problème était le niveau très médiocre du service. Un personnel très junior, un propriétaire/gérant grincheux et des attentes très longues. Nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement.

Une salle avec des tables le long du bar où le service fait les aller retour, des serveurs efficaces mais peu chaleureux, une bonne cuisine mais avec un rapport qualité prix au delà des saveurs.
