BASTION STE ANNE
Hotel in a former guard house with a garden and contemporary kitchen in Beaune.
Nestled in a secret garden is an attractive hiding place for two people, the Bastion Sainte-Anne. Built in 1637, during the Thirty Years War, it is in an old guard lodge that you will sleep. The stone house, close to the still standing square, is composed of a main bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room loft for one or two children. The glass was transformed into a living room: perfect with a good book in front of the fireplace. Bulthaup cuisine is elegant and contemporary. In the garden, hidden from the city, there is a whole world to explore: You can pick up plums, cherries and figs. It also houses rare varieties of flowers for a century. There are even bicycles available to visit the vineyard.
