Known as the "Grande Maison", founded in 1731, it is one of the oldest wine houses in Burgundy. Already 9 generations are carrying on the tradition! La Cave du Château is a modern wine cellar located in the heart of the royal fortress of Beaune, built by Louis XI. Acquired in 1820 by Bernard Bouchard, it was here that he set up the winery. 4 towers, ramparts, an unusual cellar housing 2,000 bottles. Tours of the house are by prior arrangement. Bouchard Père et Fils is part of the Champagne Henriot group, which merged with Artémis in 2022.
