National label to promote wine and vine tourism, with the aim of improving the visibility of wine tourism.
Launched in 2009, the V&D label is a national label designed to promote wine tourism. Its aim is to enhance the visibility of wine tourism destinations and reach out to new clienteles. The label also enables service providers to develop networks and encourage the emergence and promotion of qualified products.
The label is awarded for a period of 3 years to wine tourism destinations offering a wide range of complementary tourist products (accommodation, catering, cellar visits and tastings, events, etc.), making it easier for customers to organize their stay and directing them to quality services. It is awarded first to a region, then to its service providers.
This label brings together service providers with activities to suit all tastes and experiences in the heart of the vineyards.
To immerse yourself in the terroir and learn more about Burgundy's vineyards, you can visit the cellar of an owner-harvester, take a bike ride along the Voie des Vignes, walk along the Chemin des Grands Crus, follow a winemaker in his vineyards, take part in a pedestrian rally, drive a 2CV or a moped along the Route des Grands Crus.... In short, share a unique experience, and in Pays Beaunois, you've got a wide choice!
You'll recognize these service providers by their white Vignobles & Découvertes sign on a green background. Happy wine-discovery!
