As in all the communes where wines are produced, Beaune has its ODG, Organisme de Défense et de Gestion, which is in charge of the appellations, Beaune, Beaune1er Cru and Côte de Beaune-Villages. All in all, 500 hectares of vines are managed by 260 members. Given its importance, "Les Vins de Beaune" is a very dynamic structure whose president is now Thérèze Courpasson of the Besancenot estate. It is she who organizes the Saint Vincent de Beaune which takes place on the Saturday before the Saint Vincent Tournante.
