Champy, founded in 1720, is the oldest of Beaune's great houses. Visit by appointment on rue du Grenier à Sel. On Place de la Halle, you'll find a friendly boutique with a view of the Hôtel Dieu and a team of experts on Climats. Upstairs, a lounge area ideal for tasting Premiers and Grands Crus from the Côte de Beaune and Nuits. 500,000 bottles a year are produced from a third of the estate's 25 ha of vines, 30% of which are organic. Dimitri Bazas, technical director and oenologist, guarantees rigorous vinification.

Arranged a tasting at the cave. When it was not possible due to a website error, the company reached out right away to accommodate me and put me in a different tasting slot here at the boutique. I didn't catch her name but the woman leading the tasting was lovely! She was funny, knowledgeable, and made it a very enjoyable experience. The wines we tried were excellent and there was no pressure to buy any at the end but all of us in the tasting did anyway since we liked the wines and the experience. Would recommend!

Superbe dégustation à la boutique Maison Champy. Cyriane (si je ne me trompe pas) est très professionnelle et son accueil est chaleureux. Pour ceux qui veulent découvrir les vins de Bourgogne et l’histoire sur les vins de Bourgogne, n’hésitez pas !

Excellent accueil, très bonne présentation de la maison, réponses à toutes les questions.... bref un pur moment de bonheur avec une dégustation prestige.... merci au jeune homme qui nous guidait.
