Charming waterfront picnic spot with guided tours, workshops and demonstrations
This house installed on a tumulus built by the Calusas Indians allows to discover the archaeology and history of Estero Island. It is also a charming place for a picnic by the water. Guided tours are available to learn more about certain topics (at an additional cost) and it is also possible to rent a kayak in Estero Bay to follow the footsteps of ancient tribes. Be sure to visit the gardens and walk on the observation deck. The place is regularly animated with workshops and demonstrations.
