More than 25 exceptional sites are found in Raiatea and Tahaa, like the Octopus cave, discovered in 1992. In this 150 m long cave, octopus, and a diverse fauna in this hall filled with stalactites and stalagmites, accessible to experienced divers (less than 50 m). From Raiatea like Tahaa, the lagoon sites of these two islands are visited. Thanks to Hémisphère Sub for indications on sites.

The. de Miri-Miri. Accessible at all levels (0 to 25 m), this ocean site on the west coast allows you to admire napoléons and sharks, perch and bécunes, paddles, diodons…

. de… For Level I (0 to 30 m), this site on the west coast is on the drift. Crossing the pass allows to see benches of jackfish, barracuda, turtles, napoléons, leopards… along the fall, coral Stylaster purple, black…

Wreck of Du. One of the most spectacular dives in the Sous Islands, all levels (17 m to 28 m). The Nordby is a Danish longliner failed on 22 August 1900, metres from the Hawaiki Nui hotel. The hull and rigging are still intact, as are two of the three masts. Significant wildlife lives in the places: Chirurgiens., morays, loches… Very good diving at night too.

Passe's pass. Level II (0 to 38 m). In the Toahotu Pass, on the east of the island of Tahaa, this dérive dive offers an exceptional panorama on a 50 m background between two pitons that rise to less than 32 m deep. Benches of jackfish, surgeons, barracuda…

Passe Pass. Level I confirmed (0 to 28 m). In this famous passage on the east coast of Raiatea, we admire benches of jackfish and barracuda, sharks and napoléons, and sometimes the Manta lines.

I had to take diving on the site of MiriMiri and a night of the apave of Nordby with Sub Hemisphere and I do not regret having had my level 1 diving in Polynesia. Stripe, whale shark, clownfish... species to be mentioned too! It is just wonderful for!
