It is the fascinating result of the work of nature for almost 65 million years that you will discover in these marvelous caves. Underground lakes, stalactites and stalagmites, festoons and mineral draperies enchant the eye. These caves were only discovered in 1964 when stone cutters from a nearby quarry were surprised by a strange echo underground. They have been open to the public since 1973. The visitable part is 450 meters long, and rises up to 100 m high in the highest cavity! Bring a little wool.
