ANNA MARIA CITY PIER
Long historical pier of the island, with a restaurant and a store, offering a very pleasant stroll at sunset
Long historical pier of the island. Built in 1911, it welcomed passengers visiting the island from St. Petersburg. Destroyed during Hurricane Irma in 2017, the Pier was rebuilt to reopen in 2020. It is a very pleasant walk, especially during sunset. At the very end of the Pier, you'll find a restaurant, the City Pier Grill that offers small dishes and ice cream, as well as a store selling bait for fishermen. In 2023, the Pier is expected to be home to the Mote Marine Outreach Center.
