In the center of town, a few steps from the tourist office, a café-restaurant is nestled in a small historic wooden house with a pointed roof. The welcome is friendly, the regulars mingle with the tourists passing by for a salad, a soup of the day or a burger at low prices. A little further on the Glenn Hwy, the same house welcomes you from 6am at the Noisy Goose Cafe to eat simply at any time. On the plate, America, on the walls, Alaska.
