UN ENFANT PEUT SAUVER UN ARBRE
Founded in 2009, in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, this association aims to raise children's awareness of the environment and respect for the planet by participating in the reforestation of the regions of France and protecting biodiversity. Annick Mathieu had this idea in 2009. That year, storm Klaus, one of the most destructive in France, devastated Landes Forest. In November 2014, 10 000 pines were planted in the municipality of Saint-Geours-de-Geours thanks to the patronage of the Landaises Action Pine and IXXI companies. In October 2015 it was on La's commune that 10 000 also took root. The association expresses dynamism also in Chevigny Saint Sauveur where with the support of the commune a conservatory orchard and a village in bat have been realized. The association has a great success with individuals, regional and national institutional institutions, some nurseries and financial partners. Its actions are implemented through the awareness of a broad public, including school.
