Dunes and a pine forest. Originally, Dueodde was a vast expanse of sand. In the 18th century, pine trees were planted and some plants, Ammophila and Leymus, were planted to stabilize the dune. Today, the area is protected, extending for some 30 kilometres almost without interruption. In addition to the beach, the lighthouse of Dueodde is worth a visit. It is the highest of the island. Built in 1962, it offers a panoramic view of the surroundings. The old lighthouses are not open to the public.
