PLAN VÉLO ET PIÉTON DU GRAND DIJON
Dijon metropole is committed to the climate and energy transition, with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. To encourage active travel, the city has set up a bicycle-pedestrian plan. The aim of this plan is to make roadways more cycle-friendly, with 33% of roadways equipped for bicycles. Dijon métropole aims to achieve a 12% modal share for bicycles by 2030. Intercommunal cycle paths have been created, notably between Sennecey-lès-Dijon and Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, and between Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur and Quetigny. Bicycle racks are also present throughout the city, with over 5,000 installed. Secure bike stands are available in connection with the tramway. For bike rentals, Dijon métropole offers the DiviaVélodi service for short daily trips and DiviaVélo for longer periods. Bicycle sales and repairs are also available in the city.
