PLAN VÉLO ET PIÉTON DU GRAND DIJON
Bike ride in Dijon on reserved tracks and in complete safety, walking on dedicated paths, is becoming more and more easy. Whether it be by necessity, ease or ecological choice, cycling becomes a means of eco-citizen transport and can be considered as complementary to the other modes of transport that are train, tram or bus: You can take your bicycle in TER or in Transco hold, and in the tram some foldable versions are accepted.
To facilitate your travel, the Grand Dijon has implemented a blueprint for cyclists. Its goal is, by 2020, to move urban mobility into two-wheelers from 10% to 3. This scheme also provides for the editing of a gentle travel plan, first reserved for bicycles and, since 2014, extended to pedestrians. Available at the headquarters of the Grand Dijon and all the actors of the dijonnais bicycle, very practical, it presents the route of cycle paths, cycle bands, project facilities, the situation of the Velodi stations, the bicycle poles, the guarded parking spaces, the situation of the shops (sellers and bicycle repairers), the perimeter of zone 30, the pedestrian zones authorized for bicycles, the double-sense bicycle-making areas. The City shuttle, the route of the two T 1 and T 2 lines of the tram and its stations… It includes all municipalities of the Urban Community and doubles from a plan from downtown Dijon with the areas pedestrian. Self-shared stations are also mentioned, with now 7 stations in Dijon, allowing you to combine the modes of travel and to free you from the car!
