DÉPARTEMENT DE LA CÔTE-D'OR
Formerly appointed General Council, the Ministerial Council is the assembly assembly, with the aim of improving the lives of some 530 000 inhabitants of the department and making Côte d'Or dynamic and attractive. To achieve this, the Departmental Council has many skills: education with the management of colleges, solidarity with older people, preservation and rejuvenation of the territories, sport, culture, housing, agriculture, employment, travel… Travel that you can do by bicycle thanks to the département and green tracks of the department and even by barge on the fluvial axes of the Côte d'Or (Saône, Bourgogne Canal…)! The Council also has ambitions for tourism… Great ambitions with, for example, the MuséoParc Alésia, who celebrated his 5 years in 2017 and who does not have success. A little advice to the Dijonnais? In the spring, check the programming of the Council… Its gardens are open for pleasant and always successful cultural events! And throughout the Côte d'or, find the Arts & Scenes festival. Finally, the Departmental Council invests in projects to improve the lives of the people with, for example, the platform for the deployment of fibre optics throughout the department, or the creation of a web platform for sustainable development management in colleges.
