To give you a better understanding of the various studies leading to a career in the notarial profession, the premises of the Chambre Interdépartementale now house the INFN, the national institute for notarial training. From the BTS, either part-time or full-time (BAC +2), to the DSN, diplôme supérieur de notariat (BAC +7) part-time, via the licence professionnelle or diplôme des métiers du notariat, the highest level of training for becoming a notary's clerk, right up to the master 2 (BAC +5), all courses benefit from standardization and greater visibility thanks to the INFN. Every year in Dijon, almost 200 students follow one of the courses leading to a career in the notarial profession, either on the INFN's premises or at the University of Burgundy, as part of a sandwich course or initial training. Under the aegis of notaries, the INFN provides information on the studies and courses available.
