Created in 1981 at the initiative of forest and wood professionals of the four departments Burgundy and their institutional partners, Aprovalbois is the regional co-ownership of forest and wood sectors in Burgundy favouring short circuits.
Aprovalbois promotes wood construction but also renovation, extension or renewal with wood. The structure focuses on its regional actors, thanks to the updating of a very comprehensive file that brings together all craftsmen, architects, builders and other promoters working in the wood sector. Members are most often trade unions, federations or professional organizations (such as CAPEB or FFB). In addition to the promotion of wood from the market, Aprovalbois also has the function of training and informing companies and driving the industry. Wood construction is also developing in the collective, thanks to the support of Aprovalbois: several projects for building collective buildings in R +4 on dijonnais dijonnais use wood.
