ÉCOQUARTIER VIA-ROMANA
The emergency housing estate built on rue de Stalingrad in the 1950s has given way to an ambitious eco-neighborhood program, Via-Romana (named after the nearby Roman road), with 200 new homes on a 3-hectare site that emphasizes energy efficiency and respect for the environment. Grand Dijon Habitat developed these 3 hectares on behalf of Dijon Métropole, coordinating the programs of private operators Nexity and Icade. Grand Dijon Habitat's Quadrata residence stands out for its innovative design. The entire district reflects the metropolis' values in terms of social mix, with 30% affordable housing, 40% free housing and 30% low-rent housing.
