Since April 2021, Odivea has been responsible for the production and distribution of drinking water and wastewater treatment, for fifteen of the twenty-three communes of the metropolis. For water and wastewater treatment, Odivea covers the municipalities of Dijon, Plombière-lès-Dijon, Ahuy, Hauteville-lès-Dijon, Fontaine-lès-Dijon, Daix, Corcelles-les-Monts and Talant. Odivea is fully committed to the region's energy and environmental transition. Odivea is working to reduce the presence of micropollutants and microplastics in wastewater, with the ambition of anticipating regulations and reducing its impact on the natural environment. Odivea acts as a public utility and aims to guarantee water quality, resource conservation and the protection of receiving environments, while applying the best possible rates for users.
In the case of new construction, Odivea is responsible for connecting the sewerage and water systems to the public domain. The manager provides cost estimates for the work to be carried out:
- drinking water connection: €2,500;
- wastewater connection: €3,500;
- drinking water and wastewater connections: €5,000.
On its website, Odivea sets out the procedure to follow, with a reminder of the documents required for the connection procedure: a copy of the building permit or property deed, a cadastral map to be downloaded from www.cadastre.gouv.fr or request it from the land registry at your local town hall, specifying the location of the house, a site plan or photo indicating the location of the house and the future location of the meter and drinking water connection, as well as any right-of-way easements, a site plan, all the authorizations and recommendations requested by the local authority, the fire connection request form if necessary, and the reduced VAT form.
If you're moving house, you 'll need to take out a subscription online as soon as you receive the keys.
Free water-saving kit: To support households in their environmental transition, Odivea is distributing a kit to be installed on kitchen and bathroom taps, along with a water-saving shower head and flexible hose, at 34 points in the Metropole. The aim is to reduce cubic metre consumption in the area.
