ÉCOQUARTIER CITÉ INTERNATIONALE DE LA GASTRONOMIE ET DU VIN
At the heart of the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin, a brand new eco-district is gradually taking shape. Entrusted to the Eiffage group, work has begun and the buildings are growing. The future eco-neighborhood, whose name has yet to be decided, will be home to some 970 new housing units to accommodate 1,500 residents.
Grand Dijon Habitat (85 units) and Habellis (85 units) have delivered their first homes, ensuring the presence of social housing.
The IntenCité residence, the first home-ownership block, was quickly reserved by Dijon residents eager to move in. It comprises 42 new luxury apartments, from 2- to 5-room with balcony or terrace. Residents moved in at the beginning of 2021.
The AuthentiCité residence, with 48 apartments from T1 to T5, was delivered in 2022.
Themixed-use nature of the eco-neighborhood will be further enhanced by the presence of the Girandière senior residence (96 units), a student residence (144 apartments) and a tourist residence (104 apartments). All components of the future Cité internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin are scheduled for completion in 2022.
A tower in perspective. The City of Dijon and Eiffage are planning to construct a ten-storey building in the eco-district. Its design will be the subject of an architectural competition, while the project is meeting with some opposition. To be continued..
