Habitat et Humanisme Côte-d'Or has existed since 1995. This association is a member of the national federation Habitat et Humanisme, which is recognized as a public utility and has 56 associations and more than 9,800 housing units and 47 EHPAD. It offers housing to people who have difficulty finding a place to live, and provides them with support. To date, Habitat et Humanisme Côte-d'Or has 89 homes, either acquired by the national housing company or entrusted to it by private owners. More than 230 families have been rehoused since its creation. The association is constantly looking for housing and volunteers.
The property is managed in partnership with Isba-Dijon, which is a social real estate agency. The association ensures the regular follow-up of the housing, which is reassuring for the owner, and a technical follow-up: proposals for improvement, small works realized by volunteers of the association. The association is piloting the construction of a 24-unit Maison Intergénérationnelle Le Trait d'Union located in Chenôve.
