The Junot district was one of the first eco-neighbourhoods to emerge from the ground in the Dijon conurbation on the 9.3 ha of the former barracks of the same name. Located north of Dijon, halfway between Place de la République and La Toison d'Or, served by line 2 of the tram, it has 600 housing units meeting environmental quality objectives, 180 of which are social rental units, as well as shops and local services, as shown by the HQE (Haute Qualité Environnementale) gymnasium. It is equipped with a crèche/halte nursery with 60 places, a meeting room for associations and a library.
