At Ferme du Pontot, Gérard and Philippe Plaçon have opted for direct sales of free-range eggs from their 17,000 hens. Some of the 15,000 daily eggs are consumed by the region's top restaurants, but they can also be found in several grocery stores in the metropolitan area and, above all, in vending machines on the farm and in 3 neighboring towns. The eggs are famous for their consistent quality and their "Bleu, Blanc, Coeur" label, earned by the presence of flax in the hens' feed.
