Jiwan is the new gastronomic table that all Doha is talking about. Opened on the top floor of the Qatar National Museum under the leadership of the French chef Philippe Thierry Duc via Alain Ducasse, each dish is an ode to Qatar. A light, refined and imaginative menu features dishes rooted in Qatari culture, spiced with genius and a touch of modernity. The menu evolves with the seasons to reflect Alain Ducasse's philosophy. To make matters worse, the view of the city from the outdoor terrace is breathtaking.

Lovely place and high quality service unfortunately the taste and the quality of the food doesnt match with the restaurant quality. Not recommended. Better restaurants offering much more better plates.

Das Lunch Menü gibt es bis 15 Uhr. Es ist okay für 100 QAR. Man hat von der Terrasse einen tollen Blick auf das National Museum und die Skyline - allerdings kann es sehr heiss werden in der Sonne. Das in der Reservierungsbestätigung erwähnte Valet Parking gibt es nicht. Wenn man nach dem Restaurantbesuch ins Museum gehen möchte, kann man mit dem Lift des Restaurants in der Main Lobby stoppen und ist dann direkt beim Eingang des Museums (anstatt über das Erdgeschoss aussen herum zu gehen).

Außergewöhnlich! Hatten zwar nur unser Nachmittags Dessert dort, aber das Ambiente, die Qualität der Speisen und das Service war hochklassig. Richtung toll ist der Blick von der Terrasse aus Richtung Skyline und Hafen von Doha.
Lage: Direkt im 4.Stock des Nationalmuseums. Mit dem Lift erreichbar.
Gute auch mit der Metro (gelbe Linie) zu schaffen, weil eigene Haltestelle.
Absolute Empfehlung.
