Is-sur-Tille is the capital of the canton of the same name and is part of the Covati (Community of communes of the Tille and Ignon valleys), with a population of 13,500. The city confirms its dynamism by organizing numerous events such as its crossword puzzle festival and, every other year, the percussion festival (TambourinIS). Is-sur-Tille, which is only twenty minutes from Dijon by the new RD903, is the gateway to the vast tourist region of northern Dijon. The community of municipalities has many projects: the creation of an eco-neighbourhood with 420 housing units, shops and businesses, the creation of a new leisure centre dedicated to children and young people from 3 to 18 years old… The town hall diffuses its news in different ways, it publishes a monthly newsletter as well as a quarterly municipal magazine.
