The Communauté de communes des vallées de la Tille et de l'Ignon (Covati) acts for the development of a territory composed of 23 communes and for the quality of life of its 13 500 inhabitants: Avelanges, Chaignay, Courtivron, Crécey-sur-Tille, Diénay, Échevannes, Épagny, Gemeaux, Is-sur-Tille, Lux, Marcilly-sur-Tille, Marey-sur-Tille, Marsannay-le-Bois, Moloy, Pichanges, Poiseul-les-Saulx, Saulx-le-Duc, Spoy, Tarsul, Til-Châtel, Vernot, Villecomte, Villey-sur-Tille. It is a Public Establishment of Intercommunal Cooperation (EPCI) with its own tax system, which exercises a wide range of competences on the basis of statutes that define its operation. It is committed in particular to the development of the territory and the implementation of quality services. Its Intercommunal Tourist Office, which is located at Place de la République in Is-sur-Tille, provides information on all the member municipalities.
