The beautiful castle of the village of Jemniště is a picturesque baroque residence of a considerable size of the first half of the eighteenth century surrounded by an elegant English garden. The architect Mr. Kaňka (at the origin of Saint-Jean-de-Nepomucene church in Kutná Hora) was built for F.-A. Trauttmanff. To see: Beautiful antique furniture, paintings from the Šternberk family collection, historic exhibition, parks and beautiful vaulted stables in an enchanting setting. Saint Joseph Chapel houses beautiful paintings by Mr. B. Braun, Reiner or Scheffler.
Accommodation in the castle (Apartmány). Three apartments of different styles (Terezie, František and Rainer). Night of 3,000 to 4,000 Kč for two depending on the season. Breakfast from 280 Kč. Restaurant: About 450 Kč the meal. Beauty and relaxation treatments at an additional cost.
