Not exactly Ibiza, but the idea is there, and the establishment boasts an airy, lagoon-side setting. An open-air space and open-air beach lounge, Santa Maria Beach is a Mecca for the Ivorian middle class, who like to get together to feast on bouffe-parties and live music, often zouglou. We're not sure that the white skai banquettes, despite the comfort they offer, are the happiest idea, but we do appreciate the varied local specialities and the lively atmosphere at weekends.
