DAHLIAFLEUR RESERVE
150-hectare biodiversity and ecotourism reserve featuring 15 mammal species, 69 bird species, bamboo forest
Covering nearly 150 hectares, the Dahliafleur reserve managed by the Ivorian Office of Parks and Reserves was originally a flower plantation. Owned by the State in 2004, it became a "biodiversity and ecotourism reserve". Bordered by the Ebrié lagoon, it presents ecosystems similar to those of Banco, with an important biodiversity: 91 hectares of primary forest, 8 hectares of secondary forest, 15 species of mammals and 69 species of birds, and among other things, an impressive forest of Chinese bamboo.
