Small beach in half-moon of black sand, beaten by waves which can be impressive in case of strong wind
You are here at the end of the peninsula, but it feels like the end of the world. At the end of the track, park your car on the small dirt parking lot and continue on foot to the small half-moon beach of black sand, beaten by waves that can be impressive in strong winds. You can also see the remains of an old fishing village, which is said to be haunted. A little moment of solitude, far from everything. Recommended access by 4x4 on road 427, about 15 km east of Grindavík.
