VILLE DE SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE
If all roads lead to Rome, most waterways lead to Saint-Jean-de-Losne! In fact, this small commune, one of the smallest in France, has an area of 56 hectares of which 20 hectares of water. Located at the crossroads of Saône, the Burgundy Canal and the Rhine-Rhône Canal, the river tourism is one of the city's major activities. Thus, Saint-Jean-de-Losne has one of the first ports of river tourism in France and all professionals in the waterway field are there: sale and rental of boats, meals cruise, repairs of boats… In addition, note that the municipality organizes a River Show every year. With an international impact, it is a must.
If you don't come by boat, come on camping bus and take advantage of the municipal camping or service area usable all year round or by bike. Here, take your time to discover the city and its monuments (Église Jean-Baptiste, Monument de la Déliberation,…) and to enjoy good fried food. Finally, the layout of the docks, the variety of tourist offer and the important agenda of festivities make the city pleasant!
